Waste Generation Fee Appeals Procedures and Forms

Pay your Waste Generation Fee online.

The Waste System Authority of Eastern Montgomery County has developed this site to give you information about the Authority and the Waste Generation Fee (WGF), which took effect January 1, 1999.

This information will save you money as you negotiate waste hauling services.

We urge you to contact your waste hauler to make sure that you are not paying twice for disposal services. Under the System that takes effect on January 1, 2001, your waste hauler will be paying part of the cost of your waste disposal (tipping fee). You will be paying the waste disposal fee of $14.00 per ton to the Authority through the WGF.

Norristown residents take note, your 2009 Waste Generation Fee will be included in your Municipal Real Estate Tax Bill.
